The Amherst History Museum has received a grant from the Community Preservation Act to begin work on the electricity, windows, and roof of the west ell.  We have also received a grant from MassHumanities for the research and inventory of our collection.

We are excited about the opportunity to further our mission to preserve the Strong House and its collection. Unfortunately we will have a limited number of public events in 2010.

Please stop by the Museum to see our new exhibition “three on amity” or join us for a walking or bicycle tour on Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. See hours and admission for more details.

Thank You!
